Thank brother Okwe for this wonderful evergreen song. No matter how we have struggled and our efforts, one thing is sure, the Will of God must surely happen. In life, sometimes there is fire on the mountain, also, As a father, and someone who was hopeless i can understand that pressure comes from two angles in this world, notably. It’s either you are putting yourself under pressure, or it’s coming from other folks.
“Urgency as they said dies quickly” From my research, I can prove that those who wait control the outcomes.
Very quickly, many thanks to all you all for the support,
encouragements, comments, from the last post captioned. All Things are Difficult at First.
Let’s read the book of Isaiah 40:31 because it gives understanding about waiting on the Lord. In this verse, the prophet Isaiah likens the children of God waiting on the Lord to eagles who soar on the air currents. Eagles are strong birds, but eagles saves energy by effortlessly using the wind, so, when you rest in the Lord and the work He already did for you on Calvary, paying for forgiveness of our sins and healing, A wise Christian don’t have to use any effort to try to earn those, but rather, apply our effort to worshipping God and accomplishing God’s plan. They are some battles that you don’t need to fight at all. Read Exodus 14:14: The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.
According to Galatians 5:22, patience is a fruit of the holy Spirit. Many do not have ideas, and I am also a farmer. Yeah, I am proudly a farmer by the special grace of God. You can visit (https://katibasonsfarmsltd.com.ng/). in planting season, farmers who want to cultivate a good harvest must plant good seeds, tend to the seed, and patiently wait for the harvest to come. One thing i love is being a farmer. No matter how hungry you can be, no farmer would ever dig up his seeds to see if the harvest was ready. As a farmer, you plant, continue to weed, and wait until the harvest period to get a maximum harvest.
There are many biblical ways to cultivate patience: spend time in prayer, read and meditate on the Word of God, be thankful, remember God’s faithfulness, and praise God at all times.
You Can’t Be Over Patient
When we have patience for God’s promises, we find that “good things come to those who wait” just like the Bible teaches. We all like to get good things but don’t like waiting. Myself, I’m not always patient, but I’m working on it and improving. What is helping me now is coming closer to God, I read my Bible and am trying to understand that God is good and that the Bible is full of His promises of blessings. God can’t never lie, so if God starts anything, promises anything, be sure he will do it!
Several Bible verses explain that good things come to those who wait, but the key is to wait on the Lord. Lamentations 3:25–26 says, “The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him. It is good that a man should wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord.” God promised Abraham that his descendants would number the sand and stars (Genesis), but he and his wife were childless. Hebrews 6:15 says, “So after Abraham had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.”
Waiting Can Be Difficult
I understand it’s easier to talk about all this things, Honestly, Patience is easier when things go well. It is harder to practice waiting patiently during difficult times. Let’s look at some Bible verses about patience in hard times. James 1:12 reveals the ultimate reward for patience in hard times, “Blessed is the man who endures temptation, for when he is tried, he will receive the crown of life, which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.” We discover the benefits of patiently enduring in Romans 5:3–5, “Not only so, but we also boast in tribulation, knowing that tribulation produces patience, patience produces character, and character produces hope. And hope does not disappoint, because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.”
The Bible gives many verses about patience and God’s timing to fulfil His promises. Psalm 27:14: “Wait on the LORD; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord!” Another encouraging verse is Galatians 6:9, “And let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we shall reap, if we do not give up.” Sometimes, we forget that God isn’t obligated to fit into our time frame. God knows our days and everything about them (Psalm 139:16), so we should trust His timing.
Word of Wisdom
A wiser man protects his inner fire, i want you to know that you it can build your inner. Your inner can also burn as well, so protect it, guard your inner fire. Think of this, a tree can make a million matchsticks and but one matchstick can burn a million trees. Humans’ minds work the same way, a single negative thought can destroy years of strength, clarity, and peace. Struggles Struggles Struggles, but struggles never end on this earth. Remember that all who fought for Nigeria independence from Britain never became president. I am sure even President GEJ can be a good example , he never fought for anything but destiny.
Resisting The Unnecessary
You can throw me away, but not my words. I am speaking to your heart this morning that resisting the urge to react is a real strength, not weakness. Don’t forget that pains teach what comfort never could, leaving is power, and silence is victory. The strongest version of a man is not the one who fights back but the one who finally walks away without drama, without hates, without noise, or looking back.
Your age is good, but your actions speak more
That someone is old is enough, they are some people that God gave special gifts. Show me your friends , I will tell you who you are. I served my grandfather, Late chief Emmanuel Azonamokwu Aduba, he always chastise me with words of wisdom, he want told me that Stillwater can drown the loudest fool, and that kindness is not submission its self control in disguise. Emotions are good, but King’s rule in wisdom, decisions that can throw a community in big complex jeopardy can be solved by Kings silent. This morning, i bring to you that silence is not weakness, its a strategy to let fools expose themselves more. Silence is more powerful than trying to prove a point. If you hear me, not everything deserves one’s attention and energy.
My final words
If you want to protect your peace, react less and think more. An honest man may lose people who never deserve their truths, let them go. Stop complaining about everything discipline builds what excuses destroy. Do you even an animal wolf doesn’t eat rotten food?. A smart person should be able to choose what nourishes his soul and what not poisons it.
You don’t wait for any saviour, a high valued person must solve problems, and he doesn’t wait for rescue. A man who knows his worth never beg for what will come willingly. This morning, i urge you to stay away from manipulators, a peaceful life worth more than any gain.
Thank you.
Bye for now!!!
Brother Austin C Agbakor
