We are highly aware of the sudden rise in exchange rates. High cost of living and unemployment. Also, we very much aware of President Tinubu Tax reforms (high cost of taxes).yes, it’s not about your party, but let’s face the fact, the present government is passing more and more bills on Nigerians.
So, i welcome you this morning with a massage of HOPE. Oh, it’s Sunday, I usually do not post on Sundays, no issues, a very wonderful happy Sunday to all readers. Whereas you are reading this massage accidentally or for the first time, I pray this morning massage brings you closer to God.
Trusting the almighty God is an essential element of true and saving faith that looks to God and finds solutions, such as peace of mind, strength when there is weakness, and many more. Let me ask, are you facing daunting circumstances or overwhelming trials?
Jeremiah 17:5-8 says, “This is what the LORD says: “Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who depends on flesh for his strength and whose heart turns away from the Lord”. Prophet Jeremiah tells us that when we trust in the Lord, we are blessed. When we turn away from the Lord, we are cursed. Oh, Maybe I should just stop here. This is self-explanatory, anyways that’s the sermon in today’s message, in a nutshell.
David said; “Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God. They are bowed down and fallen, but we are risen and stand upright” (Psalms 20:7-8). So, it’s a known fact that Chariots rust and horses also breakdown or get killed, we can’t fully rely on them because they can’t reliable. God demands our complete trust in Him alone and will not tolerate double standards. However, a lot of people have put their trust in man without even knowing.
Put trust in God, in the Bible Jesus cared deeply about the poor and the downtrodden, He demonstrated compassion in different ways, giving sight to the blind, touching the leper and healing those who are sick read John 5 6vs9. God does not only give his people promises in their fear, but he gives them marching orders.
Final Words:
Jeremiah explains why it is so important to trust in the Lord above everything, and why it is a blessing to do so. Because when we do, he says nothing can shake us. When we trust in the Lord, we are like trees planted by water, sending out their roots by the stream. We do not fear when the heat comes. And when it does, our leaves stay green. Even in the year of the drought, Jeremiah says, we are not anxious, and we do not cease to bear fruit.
Thank you all for the inspiration to share this with you.
